Some canned dog food and some old chicken that I found in the bottom of the freezer for bait. I caught the fox.

This coyote always scratches the ground after peeing in front of the camera. I'm not sure if it is a male of female yet. Sometimes it squats and at other times partially lifts it leg. I may not be the same coyote and I may actually be seeing two different ones. I have not observed much of the scratching behavior except I have seen a fox do it on camera. Of course this behavior sparked my curiosity, and I thought it is a way to mark territory. I researched and found out that all dogs have glands in their feet that secrete pheromones, and a couple of backward scratches into the earth releases those chemicals trying to leave behind their scent for other dogs (coyotes) to detect. I knew that, I also noticed not all do it so I guess some don't want to advertise they've been there...

Checked my cameras today. Got some good pics of bear, deer, fox, coyote and bobcat. Seeing more adults and young ones.

Great pictures... That is a popular trail. I know there are deer and bears but I have never caught any on camera but our property is open pasture.

I think I have another post on this thread recommending a specific game camera. The price last check has gone up significantly. I am thinking about buying another one. I did a little research and this one while quite inexpensive, a decent camera I think. I think it takes a standard size SD card. I haven't bought one yet. I had two cameras that failed. One I fixed and the other one miraculously started working again. My husband did give it a good wack with the yard vac he tows behind the mover. The bracket partially broke and the hinges broke off. I am able to shut the camera fairly tight with a wire. If anyone does buy this camera, please post both daytime and nighttime pictures if you can. I use my cameras mostly at night because that is when the predators seem to come out here.
