Not the skinny one, eh?
Did they catch the two legged egg thief?

It may be the same skinny fox but fattened up over the summer. As far as my thief, he hasn't been back since he saw the pictures posted on the bulletin board next to the coolers. At least he hasn't shown up on any of the cameras and nothing missing. I did put a message on the board that he isn't welcome and that the police have the photos and videos. Hopefully he won't come back.

For the most part the customers have been honest. In the past I have had a dozen eggs come up missing. If someone is really down and out I would give them some but don't steal from me.

I had a new visitor last night, a bobcat.

The bobcat came back through a couple of minutes later. On another video I got either a possum or a coon. It was hard to tell as it was exiting the picture but about that size. I didn't save it.

Do you have a camera on the gate next to the coop? I saw a flashing light.

No but I have a night light in the coop. It really isn't very bright but the camera picks up light very good and makes it look brighter. I think I know what you saw. We are on top of a hill. One of the highest points in our county. The light you saw flashing may have been from the top of a cell tower.

I put a camera on the fence post by the driveway so if my thief comes back I can get his tag number. He hasn't come back yet but the camera works good.

Been a long time since we saw a fox on camera. We have two bucks who are hanging around all the time now, different ages. That perimeter fence runs across the property not far behind the barn pen. I guess breeding season is here, or will be soon, for those wily critters. That was just after 8 p.m. two nights ago that the fox was here (that we know of, anyway). I hear them more than I see them.

The time is off, it was actually around 9:50pm last night. This is in our front yard, not far from the front door. Its a fox in case you can't tell. the glow is probably bc we have a decent amount of Christmas lights up. My trail cam was jus sitting on the front porch.
