Post Your Game Cam Pics Here!!!

I just put the SD card back in the little Apeman and this morning, checked the little screen and my fox was back again, too. It must have a den close by somewhere. I checked the culvert that runs under our road, but so far, I don't see evidence of any digging there, but there are others he/she could be settled into around this area.

This is the time of the years when you're more likely to see them during the day too. I make sure the electric wires are on all of the time and only shut them off if I'm down at the coops. I haven't touched the wires yet with my new fence charger and it's twice the output of my older charger. The older charger would make my heart skip a few beats. I put it on the chick/grow-out coop because that one died so I bought a new fence charger and put it on the main group and of course the one I took off them on the chick/grow-out coop. I did find an attempted dig under the fence of the main group of coops but it was aborted. I heard some noise out there one night so I suspect either a fox or coyote attempted to dig and came in contact with the electric wires.

Foxy has been back a lot lately. I have been getting it on several cameras. This was the best picture from last night.

I was talking to my DH around Christmas about that I hadn't seen much on the cameras at that time but figured as the mating season would soon be upon us and the predators would be having their young I would probably see more on the cameras and I have but mostly the fox.

I downloaded the SAVA cam when I saw a dog on the screen. So, among pictures of my free ranging Barred Rocks, Brahmas and the ever present deer, here is what I have. I have never seen this dog. I know the little Apeman camera that points at the compost pile has the fox, but I left that SD card in the camera.

I put my traps away because I haven't had any use for them in quite awhile. I never caught it but there was a dog around them awhile back. I did catch a couple of cats. Not sure if they were feral or not but they were not nice kitty's. They acted like they wanted to kill me but took off when I released them. I caught a black vulture in one of the live traps once. It hissed at me before I released it. I don't have a picture of the cats or of the vulture, but did get one of the dog that was nosing around the traps.
