I put this strobe light up on the corner of a coop which also has a siren. My intention was to scare a coyote that I have been seeing particularly on this camera. This night a possum came by. The possum wanted no part of it and took off quickly. I have it on video. This is a very short clip.

This really works. I bought a couple more of the strobe lights with sirens. The predators don't like them. They are motion activated. You can set them to work both day or night with just the light or with the light and siren and they are very inexpensive. Here the predators mostly roam at night and that is when I see them on my cameras. A possum set this one off and the strobe light and siren activate for 30 seconds.

I'll show you the differences in picture quality for nighttime pictures. These are two different cameras that were in the same place. In this picture there is a cat.

There is a coyote in this picture that is hard to see.

it's a browning patrol, not sure about the model (I can check it later if you are interested!) it's not among the cheapest and not the one I actually wanted: I ordered a cheaper browning, but then the vendor realized they didn't have what I ordered and asked me if they could replace it with this one. I was lucky!
