Post Your Game Cam Pics Here!!!

pole dancer?
The garden in the background has gotten bigger, the balloons were an attempt to keep them away. They test the electric fence once in a while, the one around my coop is for 5 miles of fence and the one around my garden is the same, so they remember for quite a while.

Wow. Rotten little things, aren't they? I'll keep in mind that raccoons are party animals.

we have most of the same predators. the bears are further west. in our Close vicinity I can say we have the neighborhood dogs, Fox. Coyotes, Badgers, Weasles, Mice, Wild cats like the Toms. Hawks, Eagles "the American Whites" and Owls " most types. Magpies and Bluejays also attack young birds.
We have incorporated more Geese and kept back the larger muscovy ducks to fight off all those predators. we also have the electric fence and plenty of Screened off areas using wire mesh to teach the intruders a lesson. What predators are you having issues with?

fergy623, I have considered getting geese to help protect my flock, but have been unsure of how well they can defend themselves against dogs. We've had a huge problem with dogs coming into the yard and killing chickens while no one is home. Raccoons are also a big issue where I am, and there are foxes and skunks, as well.

I have my first bit of 'wildlife' on camera! BEWARE, the mighty, the fearsome, the dreaded...

Ginger cat!

Looks like you've got a tiger in your area. Batten down the hatches!

We have geese and i don't think they would be able to protect against a dog attack. They are good at sounding alarms, and i have seen them escort cats out of the yard. But, depending on the size of the dog, i think they would be very vulnerable to a dog attack.
