So I met a neighbor this weekend for the first time--she has lots of Barred Rocks (ordered ST RUN) and has a few roosters she doesn't want--but she doesn't have the guts to kill them or eat them (I can't kill them) but I was thinking of getting a few and having my MIL do the killing and teaching me how to do the rest...I have no attachment to them.

Made Chicken a' la king yesterday for dinner... I had precooked the chicken in crockpot, then shredded, but in freezer bags to use in dishes.
