Chicken noodle soup, 22 week RSL rooster

We took the leftovers (neck, back, bones, fat, basically the entire carcass broken into pieces) from when he was baked and simmered them for almost 3 days, adding water as we went. Strained out the bones, added carrots, celery, red onion, garlic, and potatoes, simmered for another 4 hours brought it to a boil and added the noodles during the last 15 minutes.

I see all these great meals... Now only to find out that my family will not eat the chickens or the eggs!! What in the world do I do??? Now if I cook anything resembling chicken.. they will want to know what chicken did I use... the store bought or mine. I don't understand why they feel it is gross.... I keep my chickens clean.... I feed them the best of everything.. Do they do that to the poor chickens in the store???? no way...... Even the people cleaning them... You don't even know if they washed their hands... but OH NO... thats not gross...sorry venting...
