Post your silkie crossed EEs, orpingtons, sussex, and any other egg layer breed!!!

I have eggs in the bator that are due January 6th and am wondering what to expect them to look like. The place I got them from has a mixture of orpingtons, Sussex, EEs, Russian orloffs, and a white rock all in with a blue silkie rooster! A total of 10 hens to 1 rooster, so I wouldn't expect a high fertility rate.

I forgot to mention the eggs range in color from a medium brown to a light tan. I was told one of the EEs in the flock lays a light brown egg. Which hen layed what?

Hello Welcome to BYC and Happy Holidays! Except for the EEs which may lay a blue/green egg, all the breeds you have listed lay lay about the same color egg, there is really no way to tell them apart as eggs. You may be able to tell who the mother was on some of the chicks by what color/pattern they are. If you are curious to know what they might eventually look like, do a search on BYC for silkie mixes (and mixes of the various breeds) there are threads with pictures of various mixes. ie this is the first thread that came up with "silkie mixes" https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/600928/silkie-mix-thread-d

I've been scrolling through a few of them, and I'm just wondering with the silkie rooster being blue, couldn't that throw the color and color patterns off? I know blue can hide black and splash. Also all the possible moms are red and orange colored, accept for the white rock.
