This is my neighbours 4 month old Mille Fleur. Started a few days ago where she was noticing a sore looking eye. And today the eye is swollen and bulgy when it is open.
I didn’t see any bubbles and the nose looks clear.

The eye may have gotten injured. Can she get a photo of him with his eye open? But tell her to get terramycin and put it on his eye every day to hopefully keep it from getting infected. Although it looks a lot like how my Pullet’s eye did after it got pecked and the eye bulged out of her head. Here is a photo of my girl’s last photo clearly showing the eye.

Get some saline or eye wash, and some Terramycin Eye Ointment or plain Neosporin to use twice a day to clean and treat the eye. Do you see any dried drainage around or under the eye? I would try to open the eye and look for any debris (dirt, seed pod,) and see if there are any bubbles, foam, or white pus in the eye. It may be an injury, something in the eye, or a sign of a respiratory sinus infection.

She got some eye ointment from the vet. Also rinsed it out with saline and isolated him just in case. Also suspecting eye injury.
