They do look tiny. Our PB girl is about 4.5 months old now and at least that size. She would not be able to get out THROUGH 5inch woven wire but she can get out UNDER almost anything if she can lift it even a little or root her way through.

These two got a pretty good chill on the ride home, so I kept them in the garage last night. Gave them a little supplemental heat until they went to the opposite end of the cage and then turned it off. Once warmed up, they drank a couple gallons of water, turned their nose up at their pellets and went crazy over kale. A couple hours later, the pellets were gone. I'm not sure what their diet was before, but suspect primarily shelled corn.
