Pot belly pigs?

And I've noticed if a pig find somewhere he likes he will continue to go back and go back no matter how hard you have to work to get there. Especially when there's food, like your duck food. That's how we ended up with one of ours. Neighbor got it thinking about having an indoor pig until it began eating her drywall and carpet because .... well it is a pig and we just leave it outside with a bowl of water in a bowl of food. He determined he liked our goats food and really liked our other pig company. And he would return on a daily basis

Thank you all, I so sincerely appreciate everyone’s insight. I’m starting to feel a little guilty about being scared of her, since it seems if she was bitey she would’ve already done it. When I rub her ears she goes into a trance and just makes these little noises. I have no idea if she’s a girl or a neutered male as the neighbors showed up with it about a year and a half ago, she was much smaller then. I just think she would be happier with other pigs for company, from what I have read. I just don’t want any issues between the neighbors, I can’t stand drama but you are right they don’t care at all about the pig. They’re quite ignorant. I decided I’m going to give the pig a chance, she’s much happier at my place and last night she bedded down right at dark in the straw I just got. Maybe she will “disappear” one day if I can find a suitable home...

I have not yet been fortunate to watch her(?) pee. I’m hoping with a little time I’ll become more comfortable.

Look at his/her rear. If there are two openings it's a she and if there is just one it's a he.

Anytime I tried to look it’s tail was down. Unfortunately, the pig didn’t work out. When I mentioned finding it a new home, the neighbors weren’t happy about it and decided they’re going to keep it. I say that loosely, because it’s still not contained and they’ve done nothing about repairing their fence. It’s been hell keeping it out of my yard.

Hand meat grinder, pepper, thyme, sage, salt, wrapping paper, not too expensive....

Neighbor: "You seen my pig.?"
Atomic: "What pig? I haven't seen your pig in 2-3 days.!"

Problem solved..

;)

A neighboring dairyman had a similar problem with a bull. It's owner would not keep it confined and my neighbor definitely did not want that bull breeding his heifers. One day he, his sons, and the vet were working a group of heifers. They were in the midst of dehorning, vaccinating, etc. when the bull came to call. Bad timing on his part. To use my neighbor's words, they ran him in chute, dehorned him and denutted him. Quite some time later the bull's owner finally came looking for him. My neighbor told him he was welcome to look, but there was no bull out there. He was right. There wasn't.

I’m not against butchering animals for your own needs but I have wiped my hands clean of these people, I want nothing more to do with them or the pig. I’ve cleaned a many a pig from hunting in my life and I am not signing up for that for someone else’s pig, it’s work. And not my responsibility. Plus if it just disappears, they would certainly blame me and I have other animals to worry about if they felt like they needed to retaliate. Such bs over a dang pig!!

Usually there is some agency you can call about trespassing livestock. In some areas it is the sheriff's department and in others it is animal control. I have known of cases where the authorities have impounded the trespassing critter and then taken it to the sales yard where the owner can claim it after paying fees.
