Ready I think ,must get rested, before being tested

Twas the morning before the contest,
and I just logged onto the site.
I had just returned from the city,
hung and left and a right.

As I looked at my pages,
one, two and then three.
I clicked on this thread,
as happy as can be.

For tomorrow at this same time,
it will be filled with posts.
And the good people of BYC,
will be clicking on the ones they like the most.

Then for the next 2 weeks,
as the pages are filled.
Everyone shares,
and everyone is thrilled.

When the contest is over,
and all is said and done.
I will be happy,
that everybody had fun.

Because that's what I do,
As I sit in this spot.
Get satisfaction,
when people smile a lot.

So good luck with your entries,
I'll keep my fingers crossed.
And remember my gratitude,
will never be lost.
