Hmmm, should have read the poll more carefully. Can I change my (anonymous) vote to "kinda"? I don't think we need 12 days to vote after the entry period ends but I would like a day or three for people to have time to decide starting at 00:01 on the 19th.
That was mostly me wanting feedback on the current policy. With the current popular vote into play, towards the end of the contest period, some may be reluctant to enter since the exposure time will be far less than the entries towards the beginning of the starting time. Anyone just discovering this thread may alienate themselves from joining on an entry level because of that fact. Meaning less entries, far less entries. The fact being, longer exposure= more likes from 1 time visitors to the thread. This thread has tons of 1 time visitors but only a handful of followers. Being a Food Thread on a Poultry Enthusiast Site, makes those statistics rational.
If & when I create the next competition, that factor would be taken into consideration. Being, an extension of the voting period, giving late entries a fair shake at the popular exposure voting system.
Thx Bruce for all of your insight and feedback.:)

Hmmm, green banana flour is one that hasn't shown up at our house. DD1 gets lots of different flours from Nuts.com since she is gluten intolerant.

Connie, I voted in the poll.
So far I've noticed that it's good in baked goods with vegetables, like zucchini and carrot, probably fruit recipes also (of course banana).

I made chocolate cupcakes using the banana flour and they were very bitter, and had a bad flavor.
