So DAH! I'm posting on here how I make Potato salad and leaving out the pickles since husband doesn't like them. While I typing I remember how much I like dill pickles in mine and my mom made it that way when I was a kid.

Last night I decide to have chicken sausage and since I have BYC on my mind I think of potato salad as the side- then it hits me - husband is out of town and I can have PICKLES in my salad.

Made some and it was divine - I enjoyed every bite with wonderful dill flavor coming through. I even have left overs that will be even better.

Indirectly, Debi thanks for planting the seed and bringing back childhood memories of my mom's dill pickle potato salad.

Celery salt! I think that is what I don't care for about my mom's potato salad. I prefer the Amish style with lots of mustard.

I made one that was potato salad with pizza flavorings once. I'd do it again, but I can't find the recipe right now.

It has white wine, s & p, mayo, sour cream, Dijon mustard,
cider vinegar, blue cheese, green onions and celery. Of course red tators too.

It is different from the everyday tator salad and WONDERFUL!!

no pickles were harmed in this recipe.

Made some blue cheese dressing today because we are having hambergers in 1 hr. Come and join us! My son demands the blue cheese dressing if we have hamburgers.

I could eat tater salad every day

I do mine with mayo, onion, sweet pickle, salt n pepper, celery, and paprika.

I lOVE tater salad!! I personally like the red potatoes, but any tater'll do! If it came out once, I am sure you can do it again! (is there such thing as bad tater salad?)
