I'm just in love with Louise's babies! After all we went through to keep the raccoons and the weather out of them, I'm just tickled pink!

I'm really excited to see what their final colors will be. Louise is a Bourbon Red, and Inky is a Blue Slate. I don't know if turkey color genetics work the same as chickens, but it does appear that the blue gene works kind of the same.

Um, he probably won't notice for the first few weeks or so, or at least until they get bigger than the chooks. Just tell him they're mutant chickens you felt sorry for.
