I live in Eden, NC-about 45 north of Greensboro. I was looking for a source to buy some various pullets that would be of age to be out on thier own in a coop. Through searching the internet I have found a poultry auction in Stokes, NC which is about and hour west of me. I was wondering if anyone had been there before and what it was like. With gas prices I really don't feel like driving that distance for it to be a bummer. Also if anyone has any suggestions of where I can find chickens around the piedmont or north of the peidmont. I commute to Asheboro-thats about as far south as I'd like to travel to pick up. Thanks!!!
