Poultry Cell or Nurti-Drench? Which one do I give and for what?

Nutri Drench.. It's fast acting, includes amino acids, and doesn't require digestion to be absorbed.

I know it is the Bovidr laboratories claim to fame essentially..

To me it means that at least some portion of the product is likely absorbed sublingual verses in the intestinal tract.

Poultry Cell does not mix well with water (IMO), and I prefer to give it on a wet mash or something like that.. which may not go over well if a bird is off feed or having other crop or blockage issues. I would still consider direct dosing it to the beak in the same manner that I have the nutri drench..

Rooster Booster Poultry Booster is a pelleted top dress.. it definitely has to be digested.

The first Rooster Booster "vitamins and electrolytes" you mention.. Sometimes I simply don't wan't electrolytes added.. Other times I consider them super valuable.

I did not know that. Thank you! She drank some of it but wasn't super happy about it so I just removed it and have been giving the Nurti-Drench via syringe.
I don't give it in the winter too much. I figure they don't need electrolytes when it's raining. I cannot remember what I read but there was something that made me start doing it. Something with ACV. Hopefully I come across it again.

So my hen with sour crop isn't improving. Today was day 4 on the Miconazole. She still isn't eating but she is drinking. Yesterday morning her crop was incredibly full and tight. She had drank her water. When I picked her up she regurgitated. So much fluid came out. Like sooooo much! I turned her face down and luckily she didn't aspirate. Also a little bit of grass. She hasn't eaten in days so her crop is not emptying. It felt pretty empty after that. I didn't feel any hard lumps. I don't think she's impacted. After her regurgitating episode I withheld food and water for 24 hours again. She's not acting worse but I can tell she's getting weaker. She's trying to hide it though. I've been giving the Nurti-Drench via syringe and the poultry Cell. She really fights me when I do this. She also has explosive diarrhea. It's really shooting out of there. So far she goes twice a day but it's a lot. It flows under her crate. Smells awful. I offer her mash, eggs, scrambled and uncooked, applesauce, mashed potatoes and even yogurt, which is bad I know, but she loves sharing my breakfast, Greek yogurt and granola, so I thought I'd give it a try. She won't eat any of it. What am I doing wrong? I thought for sure I'd see signs of improvement by now. What else can I be doing for her? Should I stay the course and hope the medicine works? I've increased her dose to 3 a day (suppository cut into threes). I'm going to have switch to the cream tomorrow. Hoping that's OK and it will still be effective. Sout crop is the worst thing. Forgot to mention, she has eyeworms as well. Took me some time to find the right treatment. Ivermectin is not effective at all. Going to treat with fenbendazole tomorrow. Had a hard time finding it. CA is restricting just about everything now.

She hasn't been getting the ACV. Just plain water and then the Poultry Cell water. I always offer plain water as well when I put something in the water. She took the Nurti-Drench no problem. I was surprised. I have save a chick probiotic. Should she be getting that now? I was going to give it to her after the monistat.

hey so sorry for the late reply, so far that sounds good, sometimes when a chicken needs a specific thing or medication they seem to not fight it, my best guess is because their body knows they need it?

you can give her the probiotic in the water although I'm not sure if they need to be in a bigger dosage because its made for chicks

Withhold food...is questionable, so do. I don't.

Give the Miconazole twice a day for 7 days. You mention that some grass had been regurgitated and she had not eaten in days, so I would say she likely does have a bit of a blockage. Try giving 1 stool softener and coconut oil in addition to the Miconazole.
See if that helps. Otherwise you may need to try a Molasses flush to see if you can get something moving.

Does she lay eggs? Any bloat or swelling of the abdomen?
You've treated for worms right?
Often something going on with the crop is a symptom of an underlying illness or condition, so that's something to keep in mind as well.

She's still not eating. We're on day 7 of the Miconazole. I increased to 3 times a day 3 days ago. It's not helping. I gave coconut last night but I'm not massaging her crop. Sometimes I put pressure on it and she expels gas. She drinks a lot. Fills her crop up completely. It overflows sometimes when she moves. She's still won't eat. I'm boiling her some eggs now. She won't eat them scrambled, fried in pieces or raw. Going to give more coconut with the egg. I'm not sure about the stool softener. Do I give her a pill? Is there a suppository kind I need to get? Plus, she's had diarrhea, won't that make it worse?
No, I haven't treated for the worms. Took me too long to find the right wormer to use. I treated with ivermectin but it wasn't effective. Thankfully someone on here knew exactly what to do. I should have posted here first. I've had a problem getting where I'm at. CA doesn't allow shipping on a lot of things. They're restricting everything. TSC had one but when I went to get it, it was the wrong one. Finally found it and it's getting picked up today. I'll treat her right away.
No, she hasn't laid. It's possible she doesn't lay at all. I've not seen her in a nesting box during the day. She sleeps in one at night. I put her in there. She has a bad leg. At the top where the joint is. I can feel it pop when I hold her. She limps a little sometimes but gets around ok. She's just slower than the rest of them. She hurt it about a year and half ago. I'm not sure she's laid since then. She's become kind of a house chicken. She comes in everyday and takes a nap, talks to me and gets cuddles.
Her abdomen feels ok. It is a little squishy. I think that's normal though.
I was thinking it might be mold. We've been moving things around outside and we had some pretty good rain this year. The ground is still wet in some spots. Whenever I move things I always rake and check for mold, but my husband was taking the initiative and didn't do that part and of course the girls always come running to scratch at the wet dirt so it's a possibility. I've got no clue what to do about that. Going to research it today.
What is a Molasses flush and how do I give it? I've never understood doing a flush on a chicken. To flush something out you would drain the liquid. Can't do that with a chicken. You could kill them. I'll look that up too when I'm done with her afternoon stuff.
I'm worried about her not eating. Should I force feed her the egg? Also, I've got someone that has the feeding tube set up and will help me with it since I've never done it on a bird before, only humans. Is that something I should consider?

Stool softener is in pill form, it's not a laxative. It may help break up a blockage.

A flush is given orally, depending on what you are treating it's just water mixed with something else and it's syringed into the crop. Molasses does act like an intestinal stimulant with the hopes of helping flush out a blockage.
I think I would hold off on giving a flush and see if the stool softener helps first.
