Skin weeping a little around bite site. She may not have gotten a full dose. The location may had some shot into mouth cavity through her chick where poison would have not effect other than taste bad.

Hope she heals up well for you, poor girl. That doesn't look very pleasant for her at all. My friend and I lost a valuable cockerel to a copperhead bite a three years ago.

As of this morning swelling decreased further. She is also a bit stiff. She did not patrol last night except for possibly once around 2200.
