Poultry/Small Animal Swap Meet - TSC Georgetown KY 9/18/10

That puppy sure was cute, even if it is a little hellion in the making. It wanted to eat my little birds through the mesh of my cage.

Anyone who got pix of my pen, can you post or send to me? I would like some better pix but don't want to have to set it back up and didn't think to take any that day. Sigh.

My little bunnies are like different animals. I really think that black one was in the early stages of heat stroke. She is like a new girl now that she has cooled off.....and has also eaten nonstop since I got her home. Bouncing around and being cute as a button. The gray one is a little older and not as friendly, but still nice...and FAT....I know bunnie can breed early....if she pops out some babies, I will throw mysel off a cliff LOL.

I did have a bit of a problem.......came home to a rooster rumble....apparently the pet sitter got confused and opened ALL the pens, not just the two coops and the duck and broody house. Meaning my rooster pen got opened up and my breeding coop got opened up. I thought all was fine and dandy until I found my cute but fiesty mottled cochin rooster just shredded and hiding in the corner of my big coop......not sure if he'll make it. Going to keep the other mottled cochin youngun I had at the swap......just in case....Grrrrrrr......

Anyone wish they had bought something? I'll be in Lexington August 7th and can bring any of the kids back up there to meet

I am a total Moron!!! I took those pics of the pen to show jeff and when I was flipping back through everything I realized I deleted the pics I took before I downloaded them!!!!!!!!!!!

LH took some pics. Hopefully she still has hers. I know she was planning on being gone most of the day today so this evening I'm sure she'll see this.

That's what your secretary said, too.

I hear she calls me a cow too. Gonna fire her - she's lazy.

Maybe you aren't setting a good enough example

Isn't there a wild bird needing your rear to land on?

All out of those today.
The bird and I have a deal that if I give her sunflower seeds she will leave me alone.

LOL! Your babies are growing very well for LH. They are too cute - and I am so not even into the little feathery buggers!!

d'Uccles can win anyone over, but especially my millies. They are heritage, so they've had generations of being spoiled and petted. Useless as anything but eye-candy pets, but they're very good at being pretty pets!

Mine routinely push the cats off my lap so they can cuddle me instead. Love to watch the cats process that each time it happens!

They have in with the silkies.......I'm sure there is an "influence" from them. I feel strangely drawn to them.....almost hypnotic......... it must be the evil silkies!
