Also IMO give the chicks a little while to get new feathers in before you pick the ones you want. Lol, I am talking about what to do with them before you hatch them.

Maxx your a nut! LMAO...............You wanna run my business too? LOL Your funny! hahahahaha I keep them according to the colors they feather in with or even their tempermant. P.S I play with my chickens, thank you very much! hahahah Like i have to many white so i don't keep them when hatched, i have really no buffs so i might keep one that color, i also like black chickens cause i have only a few. just depends on what i already have! And i love my mutts by the way~

I have a question though. Since I will start to collect them 3 days before the swap since their laying has been bad what is a good way to keep them warm? Sometimes when it gets cool out my mom opens the windows in the house. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

lol, first put them in a safe place. Room temp is fine just turn them 2-3x a day. You do that until you set them in bator. Also how much? So i know to bring some $$ , you bringing them to lonesome dove or Ocala? Ocala would be better since i am totally full in the bator with my own eggs

I am bringing them to the Ocala swap. How about $7? By turning them do you mean like flipping them over?

I am bringing them to the Ocala swap. How about $7? By turning them do you mean like flipping them over?

$7 a dozen? what breeds are they again? yes mark one side with a O and one with a X. Turn them to O then X etc etc have you tested his eggs for fertility yet?

If I knew anything about ducks I would take Squirt lol. Btw I still haven't heard from my friend about the NHR yet.

He's good, just needs some females, and hates our 2 reds now for some reason, he leaves the other 3 hens alone. Loves other ducks once he gets used to them lol.
