Oh I wish I wouldve known about the one in Decatur. When is it?

This was the first one and I don't know when he will have another one, hopefully he will have one every month. I saw it advertised on craigslist and we decided to check it out. It was worth going to, this is the ad he ran:
Feb. 7th we will be having an all day trade day in Decatur, Tn. Everyone Welcome. Bring what you have farm or horse related. Horses, saddles, bridles, harness, wagons, buggies, trailors, chickens, dogs, goats, cows. Buy, sell, trade.
Directions: From exit 49 on I75 take hwy 30 west. Go about 10 or 12 miles to 1st traffic light hwy 58. Turn right on 58 hwy go north about 3 miles to Guinns Narrow Rd. Turn right barn will be about 100 yards on left.
There was alot of horses and horse related item there, we bought a complete harness for our buggy for $40. A great deal I thought! They had poultry, quail, those beautiful pheasents, goats, etc. everything he had listed was there.

Poultrylady, that was'nt me selling the pheasants in Decatur. Probably a guy from McDonald Tn. He was supposed to be there . I dont know if he made it or not. I wanted to go , but been sick for a few day and just was'nt feeling up to it.

I was the one at the Madisonville trade day that ask you about your baby chicks. And we decided it was to cold for them

I just heard that there will be another "Trade Day" March 7th, the first Sat. in March, in Decatur. I plan on attending the swap in Madisonville then going over to the Decatur one. Just though I would let everyone know. Directions are in one of the above post.

Well, I would not really say there was alot, but I didn't get there till about 10am. I did see some already loaded up in trucks so I think there were probably more before I got there. There was no where near as many as they have in Madisonville, but it was the first sale and I really expect it to grow into a very big sale, there was alot of people there. I saw more horse related items really. But there was 4 people that brought alot of chickens, the man with the phesants, some quail, and someone must have brought some turkeys, I saw them loaded up in a truck. They also had some calves, pigs, a few goats. This is more of a farm related sale instead of just a poultry sale, but I enjoyed it.
