Poultry Trade Day in Monroe County, TN. 1st & 3rd Sat. *UPDATED*

This Saturday is the Poultry Trade day. The first Saturday is always the best one. And the weather is susposed to be great. Hope to see a huge crowd there.

The first and third Saturday of every month between Sweetwater and Madisonville, TN on Highway 68 there is a Poultry Trade Day. All are welcome. There is usually a really good turn out, hopefully the weather will be good. Directions from I-75 Take the TN-68 exit, EXIT 60, toward SWEETWATER/SPRING CITY. Turn onto TN-68 S. Stay on hwy 68 until you past the Lost Sea, The Poultry Trade Day is located about a mile past The Lost Sea on the left, right next to a feed store. Hope to see you there.

No charge for parking. Sellers are charged $3. For all types of poultry and small animals. People are their around daylight and its usually winding down around 9am or shortly after.

Tomorrow is the 3rd Saturday trade day, Should have a pretty good crowd.

Just realized DD2's soccer games start 4/4. Figures, doesn't it? I'm beginning to think it's my destiny to never make a poultry swap. DH would be happy with that.



Did you know there's a poultry show in Cocke County May 2nd?
I already have that on my calendar as a 'must do' (and no one can argue since its close to my birthday). Maybe I can meet more BYC folks there!

The Cocke County Poultry show is still on for May 2nd.
DD2 has two soccer games that morning!

And I guess since 5/2 id the first Sat in May, a lot of people will be at the Trade Day instead?

And I'm bummed because my big girls have picked on my millies, so I don't think I can show them. They have some naked spots on the tops of their heads
