Hi All,
a friend recommended this product called "chicken nipples" (i did not name it). i found them on line at QC Supply. they are under a buck a piece. we have 3 for 13 chickens. i drilled 3 holes of the correct size on the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. no holes had to be drilled to keep a vacuum from occurring. and hung it around 16" off the ground. it took some of the chickens a couple of hours to get it and some had it the next day. one of the girls had the idea as soon as i hung it up. they are a great way to water the chickens and keep the water supply sanitary.
