Oooo that's why they fight alright.

Nah even when I have plenty of hens for each my roosters fight ive bred very stubborn,arrogant boys but I kind of like the meaner ones they are good protectors my sweeter roosters never kept my ladies safe they just ran off.There other brother Soiux died last year protecting his hens.

Well my breeding project has really gone into full kick especially because one has feathered legs & a crest as expected & wanted in this clutch of chicks she is exactly like her mother & is now expected to lay white eggs as well im very happy about this the other three will most likely be used after I breed Patwin back with her father & her children can then be bred with Shoshone or Karuk which have the white/brown coloring I like lot of variables but I think it's going to go good it's the finalization of my new breed that is going to take many years to perfect exactly what I want but I think by the time im a full grown adult I will have completed my project!

Thanks! He has been getting bullied a bit my friend had to many roosters so they had to get rid of a couple or eat them & I took this one.

It's so crazy around my house! Our horse got out & was taking a stroll of the neighborhood luckily I saw him from our field we had no idea he was even gone so I walked him home it was like half a mile.

My goose Assyra is broody & she was laying on 6 goose eggs for several days but I candled them yesterday & they were all infertile since I have no gander I was hoping my Muscovies got them fertile but no.So I swiched them out for 10 chicken eggs she was very upset with me but now she is content with her new eggs.Im going to let her raise them until I can decifer the genders of the chicks and then the boys will be fed to our snakes and the hens I'll keep. My chicks are so colorful & big now!!!!! Shoshone has some gorgeous colors on him too!

My new rooster is almost poultry lice free & will join the flock soon!

My reptiles are pretty content & everyone else are being goofy as usual it's been a good spring so far & not yet over!

Lol no she is 1/2 barred rock & not totally sure what her father was but he had a rose comb and looked like a product of a Silver-laced Wyandotte so yeah
