Yeah, it has entered his leg and this is with chemo and radiation. It has eaten through the bone and into the marrow. My sis in law says that the doc basically told her maybe a few months.

i just can't fathom my life or my children's lives without him. he was always the one who wanted to watch the kids should i need to do something. my mom was never like that. she couldn't wait for me to take my kids out of the house.. ugh.

anyway, i don't have much else to say at this point. Other than i told my DH that i feel he's gonna be gone before christmas.

Got a phone call at 4 am today.. and it was my sis in law telling me that they were following the ambulance to the er cuz dad was coughing blood and had a hard time breathing. so we dropped the kids off at my FIL and MIL. and went down. we weren't there too long.. home four hours after the initial call. but it's from the chemo pill he takes. it's rare but can happen it causes bleeding.. so no more of that pill. tomorrow he's got appt with his reg. oncologist. so we will see what he says.

my brother drove his truck down and since my dad was having leg pain where the tumor grew into the marrow, he couldn't get in it. so we drove him back to the house. But on the way my dad wanted me to stop and see if Kwik Trip had a paper(it was 6 or so.. i think they would LOL) so on my way in(he dind't have money in his pants either) he asked for a cup of coffee. and i said no problem. and i bought myself a lottery ticket.. normally i spend maybe 3 on it but it had pigs(middle DD loves pigs) and it was 5 bucks.. it was a 50 dollar winner! lol. i never win over 2 dollars on one LOL. go figure.

when we got to his place i went in and played with the puppies. they are too cute.. i am taking his dog when he passes and i have a puppy all picked out. i know.. i don't need more dogs, but at least they will have a good home. and they are bigger so i don't have to worry bout them getting hurt lol. i know i said i can't afford to have another big dog but we will make do even if i have to cut back on chickens.. i have made my choices. he is having his dog fixed after she's weaned the pups. i will be fixing my pup as well.

i don't have too much to say at this point. Im terribly tired and i just want sleep but it will have to wait. we are having a rummage sale next weekend so i gotta price stuff.. yay. LOL

Do not feel you need to justify taking your dad's animals. You have a big heart. I would want my animals going to a good home. I would anguish for them otherwise. You deserve a winning ticket.
