Power off for an hour, now my 1588 wont come up to temp??

This is my first go around incubating but have noticed that my 1588 doesn't like being below 65F degrees either.
We heat our house with wood so the household temps do sometimes drop during the night down to 60F degrees so I will supplement the heat with an electric space heater in the room where the incubator is located.

Our heat is set at 60* all the time...

.....I've found my 1588 bators do fine. I think it's more the need for a stable temp, than a specific temp...if that makes sense

I think you're correct UrbanMama!
It's only with that drop during the night that I have seen any change in the 1588's temp.
I keep my house at 65F and my 1588 seems to stay at the right temp as long as the room stays the same.
I was a little concerned after reading the directions that my house was going to maybe be too cool to incubate this time of year but it's working good so far.

KYBOY, did you try unplugging for a count of ten, and then plugging the bator back in? Maybe worth a shot.
