Power outage, pips went for a ride! UPDATE Pg 4

Took all 8 chicklets with me on my trip to the coast this weekend. These are some travelling chicks! They stayed cosy with their heat lamp while I enjoyed my trip without worry that something was going wrong at home.

Chicks went on a little trip. Here's one of them enjoying the beautiful Oregon coast!

The chicks are now all 1 week old. Here are some updated pics:

3/6 of the Olive eggers, blue, black and white (hopefully will be a splash)

3/6 of the Olive eggers, aka the chipmunk crew

One of the olive eggers, and the only one to get her fathers "hairy" legs. She's also the only one with yellow legs.

Mother unknown on this one, What do you think? Options are SLW, BLRW, Columbian Wyandotte, or Partridge Rock.

The 2 NON-olive eggers. Who do you think is the mom? The black one actually has some flecks of brown on it.

I took mine on vacation, too, on day 19, and hatched 16 out of 20. And brought them home again in a brooder box!

Yep, I guess taking them on trips means I'm addicted... I could just see myself getting pulled over with my incubator or brooder in the front seat... I'd probably get sent to the looney bin. I'm glad others understand though, I'm starting to get called the "crazy chicken lady"
