PPBA Show in Stockton, CA in January?

What are you bringing?

Three Wheaten Marans cockerels up for grabs!

One is 7 weeks and 2 are 6 weeks. From Fitz farm line

I'm selling because I'm going to be using a different line/source for my roosters

I'll be at the stockton show, if somebody wants them I can bring them there

I'm going, but not to show. I've never been to a poultry show before, so I have no idea what to expect. Should I bring some cages in case I buy something?

My son wants to show SLW at the fair this year, but the we haven't even got our hatching eggs yet, so that might have to wait. Is it possible that I could find a 4-H quality pair there, and get him started? Do people sell hatching eggs at the show?

Last year they had boxes there, with shavings, for $1 as a 4H fundraiser. Depending on how far you have to drive, you might want your cages anyway.

The sale cages are supposed to have quality birds with no disqualifying traits, so he should find quality birds he can show. Eggs too.

There is good food there (also a fundraiser), breed club tables, raffles & a few major poultry suppliers with feed, meds, books, cages, etc....

See you there!

(any word yet on a BYC table?)

Anyone going on Sunday? Wish I could get out there Saturday to play but my job seems to always get in the way of my social life.

We have decided to make the trip for the day. It will be a long day with A LOT of driving. But DH and the DDs are super excited. The girls already have stuff packed for the road trip. I am hoping to find some really nice bantam polish and I am bringing some runner ducks, ducklings and eggs that are already sold.
