The raffle tickets are sold by color. One color are for the breeder raffle, the other is for the general raffle. You take your tickets and put them in the bag of the birds that you are interested in. So you can put 5 in one bag, or spread them out among the breeds. I think the breeder raffle tickets were $1 each, but I honestly do not remember.
Yes, I will be showing White Marans, a FBC pullet, some Dark Brahma Bantams, an Ameraucana, and some Wyandottes in Blue and Black, oh and a few Australorps. I entered 23 birds... will have to see if I get them all washed, lol.
I am finding an abnormal amount of feather on the ground
just hoping they don't start moulting, or I am gonna have to bring different birds than I have been working with
To sell, I am taking a few wyandottes--a couple barred, maybe some golden-laced, buffs and blue-laced reds; and a couple of dark brahma bantams. Today, I do not plan to take any FBC Marans, but that can always change. I have been down with pneumonia for a couple of weeks, so I need to go through the coops and do another check on how the young birds are feathering out... Ask me again next Wednesday, since I am leaving on Thursday, I will have a complete list of who/what is packed.
