I thought I'd have a bunch of Fav roos to sell, but one had a split comb, one had white bits on his chest...(not from my birds... from eggs I hatched for pullets... got one $85 pullet, lol), and the rest I'm waiting to see how they look.
K9Carrie -- That would be wonderful, I may just bring him along and see how it goes! I guess he could just stay in a carrier in my car for Friday night if I can't find him a home on lower-traffic Friday, and if the carrier doesn't end up being an option overnight for some reason I'll let you know! I may bring along my white serama cockerel as well, I don't know. I'll put some thought into whether I want to bring birds along to sell. They're both small so if I bring them they might not be too much trouble. They're nice fellows, I just want to bring them to the show so perhaps they can find show homes...which would be ideal for them, as they'd both make some 4Her or fancier of pretty bantams quite happy. If I didn't have twelve roosters to begin with (including them) I'd keep them both. Maybe I'll bring a serama pullet along too and sell the seramas as a pair. I don't know, I'm thinking too much about this when I have a few days to decide as it is!
I like the idea of having a BYC sale cage, but only if that works for the people who were working out the extra cage, of course! Otherwise I'll be a bootlegger selling chickens out of my car or something.
I sent a PM to Laurieks with my number, if we figure out a good way to circulate numbers let me know! I trust anyone going to the show with my number.
I haven't been on BYC for a long time and am coming in late on this thread. I'm probably going to the show on Saturday. I thought that I would mention that I have a Silver Gray Dorking cockerel for sale, in case anyone would be interested in him. He's not show quality but would make a nice barnyard roo. Video here:
I'm looking for breeding stock that meets the standard, if anyone knows where I can find some.
Thanks,
Kim
