Well must say I HATED the new site!! Looked around- played- expermented--....

and all I have to say is....

L o v e IT!!. Was slow but speeding up- gona try some of the suggestions!!

I do like how easy it now is to post photos. We all know how I like to post photos.

Even old chickens can learn new tricks with the help of their BYC buddies!

Kelly, I tried this and it doesn't have any option for me to change the number of posts. Is there a tutorial on what some of the setting options are.......ex:"Remove Homepage carousel" what is that? "Compact Thread List Page" what is the difference?

Please Help!!

I've been talking to fellow BYCer by email since the migration and she's been having a considerable amount of trouble getting in from the only computer she has access to all day. The problem started with her not being able to see drop downs from the main menu, like if she she rolled over "Forum" up at the top, nothing would happen. It has continually gotten worse.
We've verified Java Script is enabled, she has run a clean up (with Microsoft essentials/ advancce care) and defrag, and also has rebooted. Also verified she's using the newest version of Google Chrome and also Firefox. Chrome will let her log in, but with broken photo links for everything including avatars and can not post or change settings or do anything that requires interaction. On Firefox, she cannot do the forum but can see pictures, not on page one but all the other pages show up. She's having a considerable amount of issues that won't even let her get in to post this.

ANY helpful suggestions I can pass along??? I know she would greatly appreciate it!

Does she have an ad blocker? Because I was working with another member that was having similar issues with pictures/avatars and it turned out to be the ad blocker causing it.

I will double check that with her, but I think we had ruled that out if I remember right. I don't think that would be causing her issues with not being able to log in or select anything. She told me when she clicks on buttons to reply or do anything, it is completely unresponsive.

Can you tell me how to to have her check for/remove ad block? She had not tried that yet. Thanks!
