I really glad to hear about the no heart attack diagnosis and especially the ok lung x-ray. Good luck on the heart function test. I wonder if it's b/c of the strep??? It affected my grandmother's heart back when she was in her 20's.

I know that I have to have meds if I have dental work done...because of Strep and I was beta Strep positive when I had my son...and had to have antibiotics with that.

Well the prayers worked! He was back in today and his heart is pumping 49% out now. The doctors think he should be able to get back to about 52%. They also think a combination of infections caused it. He had some teeth pulled in December and one didn't want to heal. Instead of going back he just let it be. The doctors said he got an infection in it and it went throughout his system. Then when he contracted the flu and then the strep on top, it was to much. He does have a valve that is so-so but, they are taking a watch it approach for now. Don't need to see him for this for another year. He also was set up with a regular doctor and had a yearly exam. The blood work is still out but, they don't expect to find anything.

The only bad news today is he passed his strep throat on to me!

Thank heavens! Really glad to hear your DH is on the mend. Be sure that you don't let it go and get an antibiotic yourself. Hope you're all completely better soon.
