We brought him home last night.

His ct scan was good, the funny spot on his lung is scar tissue. The enzyme levels leveled at the .2 and then dropped off-no heart attack!

They did however find out that his heart only pumps out 44% of the blood instead of the 55-70% that it should be doing.

They will be scheduling more doctor appointments and tests to figure that out. After they released him the doctor came hurrying back to the room because they missed the fact that the while the quick test for strep was negative the 2nd more through test was positive. He is on antibiotics for that and is staying home today. He plans to go back to work tomorrow.

He can't even get away from work at the hospital, though.

One of the bosses wife was in the hospital and in the room right next door! It was nice to see a friendly face pop in once in awhile though.

I am so thankful that it was not a heart attack. I hate it that he has Strep but that can be treated and cured. God Bless y'all as you go through these next set of test that some thing can be done so he won't have to go through surgery to repair it.

I'm glad to hear that your husband didn't have a heart attack. I hope he heals soon from the Strep. That strep can be nasty and make you feel so bad. Sending wishes your way that he is feeling better soon.
