We had a neighbor stop by the other day to visit. He did not know Sadie was on the back porch. She almost ate him!
Sadie lives in the pasture now and has recovered completely. She is a livestock guardian dog! However, she will still come on the porch when we allow her in the yard. She will stick her head in the backdoor, as if to say, "Can I come inside?" She is a spoiled mutt! But we adore her. We have lost no birds to predators with her on the job. She turned a year old Dec 27. It appaers she will at full maturity be over 100#. Still wondering how she will handle her size with 3 legs, but so far she is doing great. Even stands her own with Bell, a 3 yr old spayed Great Pyrenees we have retrained.
Soon Sadie will be an Apha dog. Pity anyone who gets in her pasture or yard!
