How many times does the movie have to use God and Jesus "in vain" breaking a commandment before we start to copy the language?

And yes I get that but you also have to understand something's are easier to say no to then others and we have a tendency to fail and fall into sin. Even when we think it's not really that bad God classifies everything agains t him the same. Even thoughts. And he tells us that we are of light so what do we have to do with darkness. I have a woman I grew up with we where really close I am positive if my family hadn't moved away from her and me and her lost touch I would be different. She very much worldly and I am very much spiritual. God puts us places and people around us for a reason we not to fall but to seek him.

My husband family believes that churvh is what makes them saved they act like the rest of the world but they go to church and believe they will go to heaven. Because it's what they been taught. And yes I over came it because God made me able to. But I wouldn't have on my own and it changed me. I use to read romance novels and found myself thinking of sex and other things before God. I found listening to country music made me think about doing things I shouldnt. I gave them up but it's very tempting to dip back in. My husband was listening to his family when he wanted to divorce me because it was easier to do that and possibly work on things after then try to fix the problem during. I know when I talk to someone negative I tend to speak negative but when I am talking to some one positive and Christ like I reflect the same.

my problem is that I enjoy the "wrong" movies more than the "right" movies. My uncle worked for the Bureau of Mines teaching first aid and safety. When I was a kid he brought a film to the house that was on first aid, it was the first time I had "seen" a compound fracture and my uncle apologized before he showed us the film. There is a story about frogs, you can drop a frog into boiling water and he will jump out but if you put him in a pot of cold water and heat it slowly he will die because he does not recognize the danger of the boiling water, our movies are the same. The Lone Ranger TV program quoted Bible verses when I was a kid.

Hmm, i never thought of it like that but that makes sense. But i think that brings to mind another important, or maybe just interesting topic, which is that a lot of the Christian media is just bad. Not going against Bible bad but like cheesy or low budget or whatever. I read this interesting article once, I wish I could remember the name of itmy problem is that I enjoy the "wrong" movies more than the "right" movies. Once again very well said. We can be just like the frog. Slowly our convictions get weakened by the world till it's too late. The tv shows and movies from today would have been considered so sinful just a few short years ago.my problem is that I enjoy the "wrong" movies more than the "right" movies. Beings your all on the subject of movies, anyone else watch the 'Revelation Road' movies? I think there is three of them, waiting for more, hopefully they keep the series going. My kind of movie, end of the world, 'Mad Max' ish. I think I started watching the first movie three or four times before I watched it to the end, beginning of the movie looked very low budget, got way better once I broke a little further in. I didn't even realize it was a Christian produced movie. Just saw on Netflix that Brian Bosworth was in it (he plays the bad guy) my uncle was a huge Bosworth fan, even had the same haircut in high school Lol!
If you watched them, what did you think of them?
