prayer warriors (following Jesus Christ, everyone welcome)

Good morning to all of you. I pray that we will all have a great day, totally awestruck by being in the presence of our God, Savior, and Creator. Thank you God for this wonderful day, and thank you Jesus for filling that hole in my spirit.

I've been given an unanticipated bit of time off from work. I work per diem, so kind of have a work schedule, but it's not at all uncommon for my boss to call and tell me she doesn't need me this week. Financially, the money is helpful. But, the work is physically hard on my body, and my passion is "farming". So, I'm praying for God's continued guidance in this area.

To any readers who have yet to ask Jesus to fill that empty spot, I pray that you will reach out in faith. Ask God to work in your life to show you that He is real, that He has a plan for your life. Know that Jesus is God, the Son, who took on human form so He could live a sinless life (something that man is not capable of. Only God is capable of that) so that He could fulfill the Law, so that He could die as a perfect sinless, spotless sacrifice for my sins and for your sins, to pay the penalty for sin that separates us from God, to bridge that gap between us and God so that we might be united with God in fellowship. Jesus was crucified, buried in a cave, rose from death the third day. For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that who so ever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) There is no feeling on this earth like that "walking on air feeling" that comes from true fellowship with God, and knowing that Jesus has covered my sins.

Have a God blessed day.

@Flock Master64I've experienced them myself many times, and those moments helped me during difficult lows in my life. He is FAITHFUL!:thumbsup

Jake, for me it only happens on occasion (like when I memorized the last 23 verses of Romans 8 in 10 minutes

Hey everyone, I heard on the news last night that 4 different churches in the area have gotten robbed/busted up over the weekend, took hundreds of dollars I think, not that the exact amount matters. Anyway, it's horrible to steal at all but especially from a church, let alone 4, a place of worship, God's place... BUT. It's also horrible that they are in such dire need that they feel the need to steal at all. Was just easy money I guess? I don't know if it was drugs or just that they're poor or what. But please pray that they find God/that God helps them. I don't know, I feel like they should be caught too so they don't do it again, but I'm also not sure if harsh punishment is the right thing or not. But what I DO know is that they clearly need God. So instead of thinking they're bad people or whatever I'm going to pray that God helps them and speaks to them and I hope/pray you all can do the same please.

Hello JF,

I am happy to hear that your husband has returned.

I wanted to mention this. Christianity is a spiritual proposition. It goes far beyond words, theology,or Christian duties. It is a Life and Kingdom existing within us, and if that truly exists and grows within us, it will of its own force and nature flow out from us, having a positive, lasting effect on others.

We are told that we must be "born from above". We are told that our Scriptures can not be understood, unless they are spirituall interpreted. We are told we are New Creations in Christ. We our told that our enemies are not of this world. We are told that Christ was the second Adam to bring the quality of divine life to us lost by the first Adam. So we have something beautiful and precious within that must be cultivated.

I was first an atheist then I believed in the Creator, a decision that instantly flooded me with peace and love for everything and every one. Then I joined a strict church that drove every aspect of that peace and love out of me. I never once saw God work in any miraculous way in the church, I never saw Christ in the people. I was afraid. against my will, that I would revert to atheism. Then something wonderful restored me. And I began to see Him work daily.

My outlook since then is this. There are many promises about every aspect of life in Scripture. If He is real,He will do what He promised. And if in my spiritual life I can not see Him manifesting His promises in my life or those around me, then my Christianity is meaningless or empty. So have searched, and gotten, an understanding of how to bring His reality into ours. So I discard what does not work, and utilize what does.

My point is that to truly regain you husband and to usher him into a truly changed life starting from within, this starts on a spiritual level. I have taught many people this technique I want to suggest to you.You can read about it in a book written by a prisoner in the 1930s. It can be found at no charge on the internet, the name is "Love Can Open Prison Doors", and the author is Starr Daily.

Without speaking a word, you can begin to stir up something inside your husband drawing him to you and to our Father.

How I wish at 25, as you are, to have learning this aspect of the divine Life within us.

Our Father bless you and your children, and bring your husband into the realm of true existence.

Oh wow, that's awful! I don't know what God will do to them or how, but He surely won't let them get away with robbing his house. He is just, and hence cannot let sin go unpunished.
I'll be praying for them and the churches.

That makes sense. Maybe He will punish them but then somehow use this whole thing to turn them back to Him. One can hope aha

And I will continue to do the same :)
