prayer warriors (following Jesus Christ, everyone welcome)

Hi brothers and sisters. Would you all take a few minutes to ask the great physician to either directly guide the doctors or heal Sally Sunshine's daughter. Her daughter Harmony Ann who just turned twelve has been ill and in pain for over a month and they are not finding what is wrong. She is in constant pain and has missed a month of school.

Absolutely...

Lifting Harmony up to God.  Praying that she will see physician(s) that will treat her with wisdom and compassion.  That they will figure out what is going on in her body, and that they will have a treatment plan that will meet her needs.  Praying also for Sally.  It's so hard to be a mother, and not know what is going on with your child, and to see your child suffering.  May God meet Sally, calm her spirit, surround her with His people who will put feet on their prayers.

Hi Daxi,
I will gladly pray. Lord show those around Harmony Ann, Sally, all the Doctors and nurses as well as all on BYC that you are the great miracle worker that can still do things that we will never understand, some kind of miracle where only You, the Creator of this universe can possibly get the credit, in Jesus name amen.

Is it okay to post a video? I hope it is, because I am.
I was listening to my old iPod yesterday, and this song came on. I remember singing it in a choir when I was a teen. Maybe fourteen. It meant something then, but as I have gotten older, and life has gotten me down, it has come to mean so much more. So many on here are in my prayers throughout the day. And when the list gets so long, I finally ask for God to bless, heal and watch over all of the members of this site. So many have sent me PM's and shared their struggles with me. And I know so many are keeping silent.

Welcome to the prayer thread MC,
your song have me crying this morning, thank you, I have been thinking about songs for the last couple of hours as the Lord woke me up to your posting, Thank You Lord, You love me, and I thank you.

Our pastor has started a seven week series last Sunday, I did not know that musicians of the caliber that played last Sunday were in our church because so often it is t loud for this old fogey.
The series is on the search for meaning ,,,,,,,,,,,,, the most difficult journey I have taken and the most difficult book in the Bible for me to read,,,,, Ecclesiastes

Yesterday I attempted to start a journey here on this thread, the journey is based on the following verse:

1 Peter 3:15 NASB
15 but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;

The Greek word for defense is where the Christians get their word "apologetics". Society and political correctness has changed the meaning of apology, instead of "defense" now it means "I am sorry".

I ask a question about truth, what happens after we die, can we change what happens after we die. Read this passage and decide if you can change where you are after you die. Here is the Bible passage:

Luke 16 NASB
19 “Now there was a rich man, and he habitually dressed in purple and fine linen, joyously living in splendor every day. 20 And a poor man named Lazarus was laid at his gate, covered with sores, 21 and longing to be fed with the crumbs which were falling from the rich man’s table; besides, even the dogs were coming and licking his sores. 22 Now the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s bosom; and the rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and *saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried out and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.’ 25 But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that during your life you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus bad things; but now he is being comforted here, and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great chasm fixed, so that those who wish to come over from here to you will not be able, and that none may cross over from there to us.’ 27 And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, that you send him to my father’s house— 28 for I have five brothers—in order that he may warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ 29 But Abraham *said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ 30 But he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!’ 31 But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”

Where will this study of apologetics need to go for us to be ready to help our friends?
Does Truth Exist?
Does God exist?
Are miracles possible?
Do we have an accurate copy of the Bible?
Is the Bible true?
Who is Jesus?
So What?

I like to base prayers on Bible verses.

Today think about praying this verse back to the Lord, think about each word, "Lord please give me what I need to accomplish this verse":

1 Peter 3:15 NASB
15 but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;
