prayer warriors (following Jesus Christ, everyone welcome)

Well hey! You gals woukd be glad to know, according to my mom anyway, that once you've been bucked off 3 times and gotten back on, you are an official "horsewoman" ;)

Getting back in the saddle after a spill is one of the most important lessons in riding. And in life!

The most important aspect of being a "horsewoman" is knowing your horse. If you don't have a good relationship with your horse, you have got nothing but struggles and frustration and possibly a LOT of spills in store... Much like our relationship with God ;)

And then... Training. It's not just for the horse, lol, its for the rider, to become more efficient, more effective, better.

To be able to ride the horse with no saddle or bridle and that horse knows you so well that it can feel which way you want it to go, and loves you so much that it will go that way willingly, and if you slip, not only will he NOT buck you off, but he will slow and wait for you go get a better grip. He trusted me because I trusted him.

Same with God. Lol I had to fall off a whole bunch before I could figure out that we needed to have a good relationship in order to work as a team, one unified creature. When my horse and I had it together, we were unstoppable. I am unstoppable through Christ. We can accomplish the impossible with God. We can trust him to slow for us when we feel like we're slipping, but we have to TRUST Him fully or we will fall of our own accord.

Yep. I learned more about life from what my horse taught ME than I ever could have taught HIM ;)

Egh, bareback scares the life out of me. Last time I actually rose bareback (off lead) I fell offand got my very first concussion

Probably didn't help that the horse was wet, either XDXD

Lets see.... Once with Zailey.... Once on Rusty....Darn, so close XD
Although I didn't get back on right then, but hey go figure. Little sis broke her shoulder on Zailey's little spooky escapade, and I couldn't even walk/stand up straight, sooooo...... but I wasn't/am not scared to get on either of those horses, so one more fall - SMOKE I SHOULD JUST RIDE YOU AND WAIT FOR YOU TO SPOOK XDXDXDXD

I only rode bareback once on a gorgeous 3 year old stallion who was still being gentled. Probably not too safe, but it was awesome!

WHOA! Shoulder?! ouch....
