So very true, and there is no higher calling in this life time than to invest wisely in the Kingdom of God.  For the believer, that is the most important job we have, and we are all gifted in one way or an other to be able to serve for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God.

Absolutely... I was trying to explain that to the girls the other day and I was having a hard time with it; I was trying to convey how our "cup overflows" onto others. And I had a lesson just toss itself on my couch. The laundry.


My youngest had responded to my request that she help me sort all the socks with this lovely statement, "I'm not a slave." Ohhhhh wow not the right thing to say lol


I told her, "you want the truth? You ARE a servant, you WILL be a servant, and you will LEARN how to lovingly obey and graciously help others or your cup will remain empty. My whole duty in life is to serve others, and you will grow up one day and if you decide you want to be a Christian and maybe even a mother, you will find that out. Serving others is from our heart, not because we're forced to. Now fold the socks because you love your mom and want to spend good time with her, not because you feel like a slave."



Willingly spend our time, energy, and profit on another, and we will get that right back

Hello friends I come in need of prayer. I'd be what you might call a cussing Christian. I believe in my

that Jesus died for my sin's,and have a very regular prayer relationship with him. It's just that even though there's an abundance of love I have in my heart, it doesn't come out so flowery!!! Man what a temper! Potty mouth. I'm a Steel Worker and I work with a salty lot. Not an excuse just an observation. I sure would appreciate a prayer or two for me and my family. If you can manage don't tell the big guy to beat on me!!! Lovingly lead

My dad was a Bible teacher, minister, deacon elder and my guide in early life. He is bed ridden right now, but we pray he will come out of this and be back ministering soon. The Lord has put a lot of good Christian people in my life. Now BYC is another place to find fellowship. Praise God

Jesus is my life! I want my heart to beat with His love. I want to be the Christian woman, wife, mom, sister, friend, aunt that God wants me to be to lead my family into a relationship with Him. Jesus is my Saviour, my Best Friend, my Only faithful always there no matter what Friend! He's AMAZING. I praise Him through sunshine and shadow (Well I try to ) He's my ALL IN ALL! I just kinda jumped on for lack of time to read the whole thread. But when I read a prayer request I will pray. Pray without ceasing. Casting all your care on Him for He careth for you. That's one of my mottos
