Someone tried to explain the law of attraction to me about five years ago, I never was able to see the logic or think that it was a "law", so I never thought about it again (until now).

Kelsey, I urge you to take your teaching from the scriptures, and align yourself with a church that teaches the Word. Know what your Bible says. So, even if you hear something from the pulpit in your church, and it does not line up with scripture, then you will have an immediate red flag that pops up in your head. You will have a sense of uneasiness prompted by the Holy Spirit. But, if you don't know what the Word says, you will be led astray by every false doctrine. And there are many false doctrines, some which are even based on scripture!!! But, scripture needs to be taken in context. Some one once said, text without context is pretext. I am so very thankful that I have a church pastor who is well grounded in the scriptures. He teaches from the Bible, while there are so very many churches out there that preach a "feel good, tickle the ears, social gospel". Even within my church family, I run into folks who have been led astray by false doctrines. On Sunday, a lady and her husband were visiting from out of state. They were in a small group with me about 25 years ago, and her husband was even the small group leader. Some where along the way, she has been led into false doctrine, and the words coming out of her mouth were so totally out of alignment with scripture. KNOW YOUR BIBLE!!!!
