prayer warriors (following Jesus Christ, everyone welcome)

Going to play a little devils advocate here(no pun intended). Maybe they said that because autism gets over diagnosed? I'm just saying, when you see whole families that have it, you start to wonder a little. I think it does a disservice to the people who actually DO have it. And you are correct, not everyone who truly has it, struggles. But maybe that person wasn't trying to be mean or snarky, they just meant that it seems like everyone has it. Either by lying about it, being missdiagnosed, or truly having it? Either way, I'm praying that you have patience with this person. It seems like you could use it, no matter how this person meant that comment! We could all use a little more patience, especially me!
I don't really think it gets over diagnosed by doctors, but many people do self-diagnose, which isn't accurate. I've been trying to think that they (since they are fairly young) had probably heard it from an adult and was repeating what they had heard.
I think autism does sometimes run in families.
I believe it does, neither of my parents have been diagnosed, but they likely have it, and all of my siblings have been diagnosed.

Keep in mind too that it's a spectrum disorder and while some can be only mildly affected and high-functioning, others can be severely afflicted. It likely wasn't even identified or named when my DH was in school, people probably just thought he was a little odd, or as one of his contemporaries said to me, "backward." Which amazed me because he is amazingly brilliant in some aspects. But I can see how she would think that, as he is not particularly conversant or conversational. He lacks social skills, but he is not aware that he does. He's just too busy thinking to notice, lol! Fortunately I do enough blabbing for both of us. And some of my g-kids are on the spectrum, which is how I noticed it in him, and am comfortable with it.

Goodness, my friend is in need of prayers. She is alright, but was in a nasty car accident this morning. That’s her car below. Thank God she wasn’t driving, but the driver is just fine.

Wow! I hope everyone in that car went to the hospital to get checked out, even if they felt okay at the time. It's very common for people to decline care at the time, then 3 days later they feel very sore and painful, and their insurance won't cover treatment because they didn't get checked at the time of the accident. So glad everyone is okay! Praise God no one has serious injuries!

Wow! We truly have a wonderful God!

My brother was driving with his daughter (2 yrs old) a month or two ago, and a car was switching lanes into his car, damaging the entire left side and part of the back side.
The miraculous part about this is that my brother had my niece's (his daughter's) car seat on the left side, exactly where the damage occurred. For some reason, he decided to move the car seat to the right side of the vehicle right before they left for the trip. It was truly God speaking to him! If she was on the left side with the car seat, she would most definitely not be here today ❤️

Praise the Lord!!
