By the grace of God, I'm trying to use this standard in choosing what to read, what to watch, what to put into my brain. I notice the very first item on this list is, "what is TRUE." That means all fiction should go out the window. I confess I'm not there yet, not with my reading anyway. But I've cut it out of my TV viewing. That's why I mostly watch cooking shows now, lol! I tried nature shows, but ... they're too violent for me. They are not "lovely," nor "of good report." As for my literature... I'm a work in progress.

I have not been watching tv for the last 10 years. when I was a kid there were educational documentaries on tv. for at least last 25-30 years tv is scam. at least where I have been living.

I went several years not watching in my early adulthood. I don't live alone now, so not sure that's an option, but hmmm.

Please pray for my cousin and her family. Her young stepdaughter just had a baby(girl is only 15) and the baby is having issues and was life flighted to a different hospital. And my cousin's husband has been having heart issues, same cousin(father of the girl who just had the baby) so they are going through a lot right now

Trip, I am sorry your family is going through these difficult challenges. Praying for the entire family and all the health workers involved in both cases, but especially for the young mother.

Amen. I am so sorry to hear of these problems. May God provide healing, comfort and re-assurance to all family members. I envision Him holding that small infant in His palms breathing Love over ths situation. God's blessings to all.
