She will indeed need many prayers since that caliber gun tends to enter head and ritcochet around inside we can hope that since she was across the room that the bullet did not have as much energy left to it after entering skull.

That's absolutely horrible. I hope she recovers. Most likely she will be with her father the rest of her life to remind him of that horrible mistake. I hate reading stuff like that. At least it wasn't one of those cases where the Dad left the gun where the kids could get it. I feel really bad for that family. So not necessary. If that was my only child and I did that I would probably have turned the gun on myself.

People assume that a .22 won't do much damage. This is the caliber that Andy Williams used to shoot up Santana High School and kill three people. It does not matter what kind of gun, you have to be careful. He will never forgive himself whether or not she recovers because he must know that he was breaking rules.
