Pre-Algebra & Pre-Geometry

Khan Academy is going to be a great resource for you. I assume you are homeschooled because of the Alpha Omega Text. If that is hard for you, see if there is another text book that is easier for you to understand. I am using Saxon to teach my son Prealgebra this year but look at Life of Fred text books. They are written in a very easy to understand method and tells why it works. Is there something in particular that you find difficult? Maybe we could help. Math is just one of those things that takes practice and patience. One day you may do a lesson and have an aha moment where everything fits. Good luck.

I used to use Alpha Omega Math. It was very difficult for me, because I am a visual learner. I have to watch it be done, not just see it printed out on paper. If Alpha Omega is hard for you, I very highly recommend Math-U-See. It is on the expensive side, but well worth it. You watch the teacher do each lesson on a DVD, then do the work papers. The teacher does a very good job explaining it, and he does many examples so you can watch how it's done.

If anyone needs math(or school in general) help, feel free to PM me. I have a skype, tumblr, and facebook and I'd be glad to help out in any way I can. :) I'm strange, I love math. And I hate when others get frustrated with a subject because they're having trouble with it.
