predator proof the door latch question

I have seen in a post that this type of latch has been successful against raccoon and others



but would they be able to manipulate a carabiner

I vote for the spring-loaded carabiner. They can be used in place of padlocks on my different types of latches.

I use the spring loaded caribiners for my coop AND for one of my horse paddocks (I have a very persistent and too-smart-for-his-own-good horse).
