I came home today & my Brahma mama was gone. Her 3 chicks were hiding under a truck in the yard but no mama. I found some feathers but no body. Any ideas what gut her. They are free range & are out in the yard. So this happened during the day.

I'm so sorry for your hen, and i hope her chicks are big enough to do without her heat. Happened here once, with a broody hen and her three+ week old chicks, in summer, and they did fine. Do keep everyone in, especially these babies! Your visitor will return.
