Predators - Coyote's why do the neighbors ???

Now that is something I havent seen for years. I thought people stopped doing that, and I live in the same state. Sheesh.

That would be offensive to me too. I know it bothers me to see deer hanging from a tree too, when people are letting them bleed out or whatever, but they leave them there for DAYS. I dont know what that it all about, wouldnt even think the meat would be edible after a time.

Too weird.

Predator control is a necessary evil of livestock management, but not something that one should take pleasure in or brag about. I don't take joy in seeing any creature dead, especially not at my own hands. If killing any animal makes a person feel proud of themself, they must have little else in their life. I'd rather take pride in doing a good deed for others than having the ability to pull a trigger while aiming in the right general direction.

As a sidenote, I have never lost a single animal to a predator despite living in an area populated by raccoons, skunk, coyotes, foxes, mountain lions, hawks, golden eagles, bear etc etc. Prevention is far more important than revenge.

The whole idea of hanging a dead animal in human view to flaunt some crazy hunting prowess is disturbed...I have to give the nod to Purple Chicken on this one...he summed this act up pretty well...if people have to shoot something that is trying to eat and stay alive and then that person irreverently displays the dead body like it had no significance living in the first place...then that person really can't be endowed with much in the way of brains.....
