Predators - Coyote's why do the neighbors ???

Yeah I don't KNOW coyotes much - but I would also have to think they wouldn't think TWICE about eating their own... I think a dog would do it too!

They don't think like humans do.

And if by some chance it does keep coyotes away - well it will draw in anything else thats hungry thats for sure!

this is what I keep hearing works the best. My male dog marks his territory (i.e. my fenceline) and I have NO predator problems either, and I know for a fact that I have a huge pack living all around me. I hear them almost every night.​

PC that is probebly the best method. It works for a lot of things. Our dog started wizzing on my hubby's hockey bag because he was mad that he wasn't going with him for a car ride. My DH didn't yell or freak out, he just went right on top of where the dog went, staring at him while he did, and I'll tell you, gross as it is...that never happened again. We have to think like the animals not the other way around. Good for you.

I don't get it either. We hunt, but we only hunt what we will eat. We hang our harvest in an inconspicuous place, out of respect for others who might be offended to see it. It all has to do with ethics. Our code of ethics on hunting is to respect the animal we harvest, and to respect the people around us.

If these people were hunting for the pelt--it would have been removed by now, so I don't get why it is still there.

I don't think you would be out of line to ask them if they could possibly move it to a place less visible, out of respect for their neighbours who might be offended by it. Honestly, as a hunter, I would be offended by it also.
