I have 4 silkies hatched april 6th. Wanna try guessing what they end up as?? The 2 bigger black ones have grown so much faster than the other 2 and they are much more aggressive. They also struggle more when being held but do calm down quickly whereas the other 2 are calm right away. Haven't names any except the white one I named her (hopefully) Pearl. So we can call them "runt" (the small black one) "gray guy" the little black and "blackie" the bigger black

Here they are at one day old

We had two white chicks and at about a month old we were sure we had one of each gender. As they grew it became more and more obvious that we were right. At five months, we had a beautiful rooster that was begining to crow and a petite hen that was such a little lady. At six months, our little lady started crowing too!

Now, at about seven months, the smaller one is nearly the size of the bigger rooster and he's getting his comb.

that is funny. I guess you never know till the fat lady sings...or I mean the rooster crows! I am hoping at least one is a hen!!!!

lol that is how she kisses with her tongue out. So all her kisses are extra slobbery!!! We try to teach her to put her tongue in when she kisses but it always works itself back out....she must be from french descent???

If I guess right do I get to have the daughter hahaha--how smoochable sweet is she---!!

I have girls and they don't let me smooch their cheeckies anymore-Unless I pounce on them-13 and 10
