pregnant doe-im a first timer-i need help!!

I was given a pregnant Oberhasli dairy goat, the past owner told me that one of her teats were not dried up yet, but would be soon. It has been a month and its still huge, and the other teat is dry and very small.

I tried milking it a tiny bit and a brown thick substance came out...I'm assuming its colostrum. Is that right???

I have no idea whats going on, and wonder if her one dry teat and one full one will effect her kids. She is due in mid-march.

Any help would be wonderful. I am so lost!

Is it red, swollen or fevered?

its a little swollen but not red. her teat is more of a ashy charcoal black color!

I will post some pictures in the next few minutes!

Like i said she was given to me, the lady wanted to get rid of her quick. I believe this is her second batch of kids, possibly third??

Are you 100% sure she is pregnant? The reason I ask, is the goop on her back side reminds me of when my goats are in heat.

When you got her, was the other one like that? I just wonder if she can only nurse from one teat. That might be why she got rid of her. If that is the case, expect twins and having to bottle feed one.

Does she act uncomfortable? It looks painful
